Unbroken

Hatter & Hobbit Music

Standing in the fire with the armor of God, the soul refuses to break. The Spirit has made it wide open to power from above that no flame can consume.

Lyrics:

Waking up, feel the shadows creep
Chains of doubt, yeah, they cut so deep
Hear the call, ringing loud and clear
Put on the armor, no room for fear
Sword in hand, truth around my waist
Faith my shield, I’m standing in place
World’s on fire, but I’m built to last
Rooted in the Rock, no storm can blast

Oh, the battle’s real, it’s a holy war
Devil’s scheming, but I’m called for more
Strength ain’t mine, it’s the King’s alone
Carving out my heart from a heart of stone

Whoa, I’m standing in the fire, unbroken!
Whoa, the Spirit’s got my soul wide open!
Clad in light, I’m ready to fight
In the armor of God, I’m alive tonight!
Whoa, stand in the fire! Stand in the fire!

Every step, there’s a war to wage
Temptation’s claws try to cage my rage
Breastplate on, righteousness my claim
Gospel boots, I’m running in His name
Thunder’s voice, like a battle roar
“Warrior, rise! You were made for more!”
No retreat, though the arrows fly
Victory’s sure when the flesh says die

Oh, the battle’s real, it’s a holy war
Devil’s scheming, but I’m called for more
Strength ain’t mine, it’s the King’s alone
Carving out my heart from a heart of stone

Whoa, I’m standing in the fire, unbroken!
Whoa, the Spirit’s got my soul wide open!
Clad in light, I’m ready to fight
In the armor of God, I’m alive tonight!
Whoa, stand in the fire! Stand in the fire!

Breathe it in, the power of His might
Darkness trembles when we walk in light
Helmet on, salvation’s my crown
No force in hell’s gonna take me down!
Pulse is racing, feel the Spirit’s call
Steadfast faith says we’ll never fall
Rise, warrior, let the anthems soar
Christ’s the victor, and the battle’s Yours!

Whoa, I’m standing in the fire, unbroken!
Whoa, the Spirit’s got my soul wide open!
Clad in light, I’m ready to fight
In the armor of God, I’m alive tonight!
Whoa, stand in the fire! Stand in the fire!

Stand in the fire, yeah, I’m still alive
Clothed in His strength, watch the heavens rise
Whoa, stand in the fire! Stand in the fire!

Song Meaning:

You are already in it.

There is no safe camp behind the lines. The war didn’t start when you woke up this morning — it was already moving while you slept. Schemes are being laid in places you cannot see. Alliances shift without warning. The pressure never fully lifts. Some days it comes as open assault. Most days it comes as slow erosion — doubt that arrives like a trusted messenger, fear that wears the face of reason, temptation that offers rest if you will only lower your guard for a moment.

This is not a drill. This is not a metaphor you can admire from a distance.

You are in the middle of a conflict where the real enemies do not wear uniforms you can identify. They move through systems, through other people, through your own thoughts at three in the morning. They know your weaknesses better than you do. And they are patient.

“Unbroken” is the sound of what it actually costs to stay standing when everything is built to make you break.

It does not promise you will feel strong. It does not pretend the arrows stop coming. It simply declares that there is a way to remain on your feet when the ground is shaking and the fire is close. Not because you finally found some hidden reserve of willpower inside yourself. Because you have been given what no man can manufacture on his own.

Truth that holds when lies are everywhere. Righteousness that covers when your record is exposed. Readiness that keeps you moving forward when every instinct says to run. Faith that actually stops what is aimed at your heart. Salvation that guards your mind when despair tries to take the high ground. And the living Word — sharp, alive, and in your hand when everything else fails.

This is the only equipment that works in this kind of war.

The song does not come from a place of easy confidence. It comes from the front. From the man who has felt the heat and heard the voice that says “you don’t have to keep doing this.” And still he stays. Not because he is unbreakable by nature. Because the strength holding him up does not belong to him.

It belongs to the King who already broke the back of the enemy and is not asking you to finish what He has already won.

“Unbroken” is for the ones who are tired of pretending the war isn’t happening. For the ones who have tried to fight it in their own strength and felt themselves starting to fold. For the ones who are still in the fight and need to remember why they can keep standing when the smart move would be to lie down.

The battle is real. The fire is hot. But you were never meant to endure it alone or in your own power.

This is the war cry for men who have decided they will not be broken by it.

Not because they are made of steel. Because they have been clothed in something stronger than steel — and the One who gave it to them has already secured the outcome.

Stand in the fire.

You don’t have to like it. You just have to stay on your feet.

The King is with you in it. And He does not lose His men.
